Role Overview
Branch Relationship Officers act as the face of the bank for customers at the branch. They are responsible for providing financial solutions, offering services to existing and new-to-bank (NTB) customers, cross-selling bank products, and ensuring smooth customer transactions. The role is central to driving customer engagement, deposit mobilization, and promoting alternative banking channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire new customers through referrals, customer visits, and marketing activities.
- Engage with existing customers to build relationships, mobilize deposits, and cross-sell banking/third-party products (Life insurance, General insurance, Mutual Funds, Loans, etc.).
- Process customer transactions and service requests accurately within the defined TAT.
- Handle customer queries, provide effective solutions, and ensure complaint resolution.
- Educate customers on alternate banking channels such as Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, and WhatsApp Banking.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the bank’s CRM system.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines (KYC, AML, etc.) and meet audit requirements.
- Participate in bank-driven initiatives, campaigns, and mandatory learning/training programs.
- Achieve business and sales targets consistently every month.
