• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Databricks, Event Hub, Data Lake, Functions).

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Azure Data Engineer( Data Analyst ) to design, implement, and support cloud-based data engineering and analytics solutions. The role involves building scalable batch and streaming pipelines, developing cloud-native solutions, ensuring data security, and enabling actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data engineering and migration solutions using Azure services (Data Factory, Databricks, Event Hub, Data Lake, Functions, Stream Analytics).
• Develop data ingestion, preparation, modeling, testing, performance tuning, CICD pipelines, and BI/analytics solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, establish coding standards, and ensure compliance with security and privacy guidelines.
• Build and manage batch and streaming pipelines, ensuring high availability and reliability of solutions.
• Collaborate with product owners, source application teams, and DevOps squads to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
• Mentor team members to build cross-functional technical capability.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong expertise in SQL, Python, and PySpark (mandatory).
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Event Hub, Data Lake, Functions, Blob Storage, and Power BI.
• Familiarity with cloud engineering concepts (infrastructure, networking, security, administration).
• Knowledge of data platforms such as Teradata, SQL Server, and Azure Data Explorer.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills in Agile/DevOps environments.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and production support.
