Salary:
Base Salary: $97,000 – $114,000
OTE: Includes base + variable (70/30 split)
Eligibility:
- Experience as a Sales Engineer / Solutions Engineer
- Background in FinTech (loan origination, digital lending, mortgage, or account opening solutions preferred)
- Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, APIs, and integrations
- Experience with tools like SQL, JSON, Postman, Apache Velocity
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
- Ability to travel 30–40%
Role Overview:
This role serves as the technical backbone of the enterprise sales process, blending technical expertise, strategic thinking, and client engagement. You will partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to guide enterprise clients (financial institutions with $1B–$20B AUM) through product evaluations, deliver tailored demos, and drive solution adoption and expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary technical and product expert for enterprise solutions
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to identify and qualify opportunities
- Lead technical discovery, evaluations, and solution design
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations to stakeholders (including C-level executives)
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions
- Create technical documentation (architecture diagrams, workflows, presentations)
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to influence roadmap and GTM strategy
- Analyze customer feedback, usage trends, and market insights
- Improve demo environments and tools for better customer engagement
- Support scalable enablement through recorded demos and documentation
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of SaaS architecture, APIs, and integrations
- Proficiency in SQL, JSON, Postman, Apache Velocity
- Experience with AWS and web-based application architecture
- Excellent storytelling and presentation skills
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts
- Experience delivering impactful demos to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong stakeholder management across multiple personas
- Highly organized with strong multitasking ability
- Proactive, results-driven mindset
- Comfortable working cross-functionally across teams
- Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously
