About the Role

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on expertise in developing, configuring, and customizing the ServiceNow platform. You will be responsible for implementing ITSM processes, building integrations, and ensuring smooth upgrades and maintenance while adhering to industry best practices and ITIL standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications to meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Flow Designer/Workflows.
• Implement and support ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, LDAP, SSO, and MID Server.
• Customize and enhance the Service Portal to deliver an intuitive user experience.
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver scalable solutions.
• Maintain platform stability, security, and performance during upgrades and patch management.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Align platform development with ITIL processes and organizational standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (server-side and client-side scripting using Glide API).
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management).
• Expertise in configuration and customization using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Flow Designer/Workflow.
• Proven experience in ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, LDAP, SSO, MID Server).
• Solid understanding of ServiceNow Data Model & CMDB (tables, relationships, configuration items).
• Experience with Service Portal customization (HTML, CSS, AngularJS, Bootstrap).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and their implementation in ServiceNow.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and release management.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification (mandatory).

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Implementation Specialist certifications.
• Exposure to advanced modules such as ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
