Role Overview:
The Office Operations Associate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of Datadog’s Bangalore office, supporting employees, managing vendors, maintaining office facilities, and creating an engaging, safe, and productive work environment. This role requires being the face of Datadog for employees and visitors while driving operational excellence and cultural engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as primary contact for employees, visitors, and office needs with a professional, friendly demeanor.
- Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify and resolve operational issues proactively.
- Coordinate with vendors/building management for facilities, pantry, and supplies.
- Partner with Security to implement and maintain safety protocols.
- Manage inventory of office and pantry supplies, ensuring timely restocking.
- Plan and organize monthly/ad hoc employee events and meetups.
- Handle incoming service tickets, prioritize requests, and ensure resolution.
- Support regional teams on office moves, build-outs, and openings.
- Maintain office cleanliness, functionality, and a collaborative environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2–3 years’ experience in office operations/facilities within a fast-growing company.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with acute attention to detail.
- Excellent communication (verbal & written) in Kannada and English (Hindi/Telugu a plus).
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic office tools.
- Friendly, empathetic, calm under pressure, and solution-oriented.
- Creativity in planning events and contributing to company culture.
- Ability to manage vendors, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and take initiative.
