Eligibility
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design Management, Business, Communications, or related field (Master’s degree/post-graduation is a plus)
- 6–8 years of project management experience in design studios/agencies or similar creative organizations
- Prior experience managing 4–5 designers directly with strong project delivery ownership
- Client-facing experience for creative/design projects with the ability to take briefs and deliver through design teams
Role Overview
As a Project Manager at Lopez Design, you will be responsible for end-to-end project planning, coordination, and delivery while ensuring seamless collaboration across teams. You will play a key role in business development, client relationship management, and support services, working closely with the Business Manager and reporting to the CEO through weekly updates.
The role requires a blend of project leadership, client-facing communication, business development acumen, and operational support, making you a central contributor to the growth and success of Lopez Design.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Schedule and manage projects with client teams; gather creative briefs and oversee execution by design teams.
- Ensure seamless coordination between strategy, content, and design teams for project delivery.
- Manage project planning through completion, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Conduct client communication, presentations, and reviews.
- Deliver weekly project status reports with the Business Manager to the CEO.
- Identify opportunities to expand scope, increase billing, and acquire additional projects.
- Ensure billing and payment cycles are aligned with project milestones, strategize and implement marketing initiatives for Lopez Design across verticals.
- Drive client acquisition by engaging with prospects, understanding requirements, and preparing proposals.
- Support the Business Manager in pitch presentations, proposal creation, and business communication.
- Manage content for Lopez Design newsletters, website, and award submissions.
- Promote the Anthony Brand through talks, workshops, and industry engagements.
Support Services
- Support HR by conducting interviews, onboarding coordination, and induction activities.
- Assist administration with project logistics, travel, and event coordination.
- Manage internal events like FORUM and mini-conferences in collaboration with the Business Manager.
