• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of experience in application/database development with strong SQL Server or Oracle PL/SQL expertise.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL/PL-SQL Developer with strong expertise in SQL Server and exposure to cloud databases like Snowflake. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance database solutions, supporting ETL/ELT data integration, and contributing to modernization and cloud migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL/PL-SQL procedures, packages, and functions in SQL Server, Oracle, or Snowflake.
• Apply advanced performance tuning and optimization techniques (queries, indexing, execution plans, partitioning).
• Analyze and resolve issues across development, testing, and pre-production phases, ensuring timely fixes.
• Collaborate with architects, leads, and cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Support ETL/ELT development, data integration, and automation of repeatable processes.
• Participate in Agile development cycles, delivering high-quality code within project deadlines.
• Contribute to modernization initiatives, including re-platforming/refactoring legacy code to cloud-native solutions.
• Suggest and implement process improvements in coding, testing, and deployment practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong expertise in SQL Server T-SQL and/or Oracle PL/SQL with proven development and optimization experience.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Python scripting, and data transformation tools (dbt preferred).
• Solid understanding of database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience with ETL tools, data pipelines, and batch processing techniques.
• Knowledge of Java, JSPs, JavaScript, HTML, Spring, or Angular is an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
