Salary: Base: $163,000 – $234,000 USD

Eligibility:

  • 10+ years in SaaS / Enterprise Solution Engineering with expertise in ITSM, ESM, ITOM, or AI-driven platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead complex technical discoveries, influence C-level stakeholders, and deliver customized enterprise solutions.
  • Strong grasp of APIs, integrations, AI/LLMs, and platform architecture.
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and client engagement skills.

Role Overview:

As a Principal Solutions Engineer, you’ll be the technical thought leader driving enterprise deal success by aligning Freshworks’ AI-first platform with customer business goals. You’ll lead discovery sessions, design scalable architectures, craft ROI-driven demos, and guide both customers and internal teams toward innovative, secure, and high-impact solutions that accelerate adoption and value realization.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead technical discovery, solution design, and demonstrations for enterprise clients to ensure technical win and business alignment. Collaborate with Account Executives, Product, and Architecture teams to deliver scalable, secure, AI-powered solutions. Translate complex requirements into actionable architectures using APIs, integrations, and automation frameworks. Mentor peers, influence deal strategy, and represent Freshworks as a trusted technical advisor and industry evangelist.

Skills and Qualifications:

10+ years in Enterprise Solution Engineering with strong domain knowledge in SaaS, ITSM, ESM, ITOM, and AI/LLM applications. Expertise in APIs, integrations, infrastructure, and value-based selling. Excellent presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage C-level leaders. Demonstrated success in complex solution design, team mentorship, and driving technical excellence across cross-functional teams.
