Eligibility

  • Pursuing or completed a PhD (or equivalent research experience) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • Strong fundamentals in one or more of:
  • Computer Vision
  • Large Language Models
  • Deep Learning

Role Overview

We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to design, train, deploy, and optimize large-scale machine learning models with billions of parameters. This role focuses on end-to-end ML lifecycle management, from research and experimentation to production deployment, especially for safety-critical AI systems.

You’ll work closely with ML engineers, backend teams, and product stakeholders to scale models reliably while improving safety, efficiency, and system performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of large-scale ML models, including data exploration, model training, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Build and implement machine learning solutions for safety-related systems.
  • Collaborate across engineering teams to deploy models at massive scale.
  • Break down long-term product goals into iterative, deliverable milestones.
  • Support continuous model improvements through experimentation and feedback loops.
  • Contribute to a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and inclusivity.
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of production AI systems.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong experience in large-scale ML systems and distributed training.
  • Familiarity with content understanding problems, including:
  • Text classification
  • Image classification
  • Video classification
  • Experience with cloud-based ML platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
