Role Type : Full Time Role

Eligibility- LL.B. from a recognized university; 6–9 years of post-qualification experience in corporate and employment law; experience with multinational or technology-driven organizations preferred; strong expertise in Indian company law, labor laws, and corporate governance

Role Overview- This role combines corporate governance and employment law, acting as a key legal advisor to the business, leadership, and HR teams, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations while supporting employee lifecycle, governance frameworks, and cross-border legal operations in a fast-paced SaaS environment

Key Responsibilities- Oversee Board governance, AGM, and statutory compliance under Companies Act; manage filings with MCA and regulators; organize board and committee meetings including agendas, resolutions, and minutes; provide legal advisory on recruitment, onboarding, exits, and employee relations; draft and review employment contracts, HR policies, and agreements; handle investigations including POSH compliance; ensure adherence to labor laws, data privacy (GDPR, CCPA), and anti-harassment regulations; partner with HR on policy development and legal training; support employee engagement initiatives; collaborate with stakeholders for scalable compliance processes

Skills and Qualifications- Strong expertise in corporate governance, employment law, and company secretarial practices; experience in contract drafting and negotiation; knowledge of global regulatory frameworks; strong analytical and risk assessment skills; excellent communication for translating legal concepts to business teams; stakeholder management across HR, leadership, and legal teams; high integrity and confidentiality; proactive and ownership-driven mindset; ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic environments; attention to detail in legal documentation; experience in compliance training and policy implementation
